The United Nations theme for International Women’s Day (IWD) 2012, “Empower Rural Women—End Hunger and Poverty,” is exactly what HHAF will be doing as part of our Humanitarian Mission to Ghana this April!
HHAF will be teaching women skills to establish independent economic stability, while improving nutrition within their own villages.

Ghana: The African Women’s Development Fund is organizing an art exhibition and concert at Alliance Francaise titled, “Young African Women, Inspiring Futures,” to celebrate International Women’s Day. This event features both local and international artists.
